RACEWAY MOUNTINGS

LEARN MORE ABOUT WHAT WE MEAN WHEN WE USE THE TERM "RACEWAY".

One of the questions we get asked the most is "WHAT IS A RACEWAY" So we dedicated a full section of our site to answer this question and show examples.

We even made a video to help our clients better understand this term. Keep scrolling for video and photo examples.

A RACEWAY MOUNTING is a way to mount and connect channel letters. Or a way to stabilize and hang a mounted sign or channel script. Wiring is hidden and runs down the raceway.

If you buy a channel letter sign it will come as a unit built in sections so you can easily install to your facade. This means it can ship in sections as well. This will also allow you to hide all the wiring behind the raceway. If you DO NOT want a raceway mounting then you will receive individual marquee letters that snap together electrically. The wires need to be hidden behind a facade or behind the raceway. Therefore a raceway is a great solution to hiding wires if you can't get behind your facade.

For examples of INDIVIDUAL CHANNEL LETTERS with NO RACEWAY go to that section of our style guide.

In these examples below you can see how our clients mounted the signs using a raceway.
